Alenda Golf Course was created in 1997 and offers a splendid 18 hole golf course, PAR 72 and 6257 meters, on a mountain course overlooking the sea which was designed by Roland Favrat. The club is an old restored farm house where you can find a restaurant-cafeteria, changing rooms and golf shop. There is also a driving range and putting green. The first 9 holes are entertaining and easier to play, with wide fairways (which help tee shots) limited by pines, carob trees and palm trees. On the contrary, the second 9 holes require a higher concentration being more technical and precision is more important than distance. Much care is needed at the 16th and 18th, as these are the two holes which will decide the final result on your score card. This is an entertaining course for any level, requiring skill and precision in both long drives and putts if one wants to finish with a sensation of having achieved victory
A new course at Alenda was opened in 1999. The course has great views across the mountains and the Mediterranean. The tee shots require good positioning, and the elevated greens offer a challenge to any standard of golfer.
