Torrevieja Tourist Information
There are many things to do in and around the area. Apart from numerous golf courses nearby, there are plenty of blue flag beaches that are both clean and safe. For the more active there is a waterpark & horse riding.
Beaches
Within a 5/10 minute drive from the apartment you will find the beaches for Torrevieja and Orihuela. Torrevieja has 4 blue flag beaches and 2 blue flag marinas. Orihuela has 5 blue flag beaches and 1 blue flag marina.
Waterpark
For all those active water sports lovers you can visit the waterpark in Torrevieja (Spanish only site).
Horse Riding
To have a fantastic day horse riding and seeing the beautiful landscape as well as the fascinating salt lakes please visit El Refugio
Dehesa de Campoamor is an excellent place to horse ride also, but a little difficult to find. I would ring the +34629905 3968 to get directions, Isabelle speaks excellent English so ask to speak to her.
Club Hipico is the nearest riding centre to the apartment. Coming from Villamartin Plaza pass the golf course and turn right onto the San Miguel road. You will see an uphill track on your right. This is the entrance drive to the Stables. Tel 34 965 97 15 37
Scuba Diving

Go-Karting
There's a Go-Kart track only a short drive away from Villamartin. Fun for the whole family! Just head down to the N332 La Zenia roundabout and head towards Torrevieja. The track is a few Kilometres up the road on your left hand side. They cater for all ages, with different karts for the each age group. Prices start for 6 € to 12 € per session depending on the Kart. Sessions last 8 minutes
Relaxing In Torrevieja
The Costa Blanca has the reputation of being one of the safest destinations in the world. If you want to enjoy the relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style then Playa Flamenca is the place for you. Torrevieja is reputed to have one of the healthiest climates in the world due to its 2 large natural salt lakes. Many people use the mud baths in the lakes in order to alleviate their aches and pains. There are also some natural hot spas in this area. The most popular, Fortuna and Archena, are less than an hours drive away through orange and lemon groves and picturesque mountains.
Playa Flamenca boasts a continuous series of sandy coves and Blue Flag beaches all within a short distance from our property.
